Murphy's Happy Tail- Three is a Charm

Hi,

Photobucket

My name is Murphy, and although it seems that I just like to come back into the rescue to be with my favorite fosters Dave & Denise, I just really wanted to find the home that best fit my personality and my level of activity. I am after all, a terrific sporting dog! I love water and running as fast as I can.
Well, I must have been a good dog in a past life, because I have found the BEST home yet.

I am home and loving it!

Dutchess' Happy Tail

Hi,

Photobucket

My name is Dutchess, and yes, you guessed it, I also came from Utah. We hear the weather is great in NV, so we are all requesting transfers out of the shelters in UT by way of the Heck Suburban Transport. As you can see, I have a sense of humor in light of such a sad position us dogs have been put in UT. So many pups and not enough families wanting to raise us. Once I got to NV, I was fostered by Mike and Clay. They also had a foster named Mac. We were a crowded household, but the good thing was, I already had a family that wanted to adopt me, so I was just hanging around so I could be the life of the party. Here I am doing my prairie pose.

Molly's Happy Tail

Hi,
Photobucket

My name is Molly, and I am yet another beautiful Labrador from a shelter in Utah. I know that I have so much love in me to make someone a great companion, so I am glad I was given a chance to become a rescued dog through LVLR. I was fortunate to catch a ride with the Heck Suburban Transport Team, and here I was in NV less than 24 hours when a family decided I would make their family complete.
I got to stay with foster Mom Cynthia for such a short time, but I did really bond with her. It was hard to say goodbye. She had 2 dogs for me to play with, Dakota and Maggie. And she also had cats for me to tease a little. It was all good fun, but now I am home.

Here is a picture of me and my Mom Kristen.

Mac's Happy Tail

Hi,
Photobucket

My name is Mac and I traveled from a high kill shelter in Utah with my buddy Duke. We were on board the Heck Suburban Transport. I am happy that my potential shined through and the rescue angels in Utah helped us to get to Las Vegas and the lab rescue.

Once in Nevada, I got to stay at foster Mike & Clay's house with Barklay and Chester. It was a fun place to stay and I got to attend adoption events such as the Vegas Pet Expo. This is where I was the leading application doggie. It seems everyone wanted to be my adoptive parents. I found a place in the heart of Ryan and Jackie, because they kept coming back to our booth and petting me. They even brought their other dog Elvis to meet me. We all got along just fine.

I am now home,

Duke's Happy Tail

Hi,

Photobucket

My name is Duke, and I arrived in LV from Utah with my dog buddy Mac. We hitched a ride with the Heck Suburban Transport Co. I was not in the best of shape when I arrived. I had several sores that had gotten infected, and of course I was tired and scared.

I was taken to the vet, and then placed in the caring hands of my foster Mom Melissa. She made sure I got the medication, care and rest I needed. In return, I worked my boyish charms on her... I guess, I "got what it takes", because Mommy Melissa decided to add me to her family. I now have a sibling named Dakota, and a forever home.

Lucky's Happy Tail

Photobucket

Hi, My name is Lucky, and my name suits me just fine. I am lucky because in spite of my being mauled by a porcupine and crop dusted by a skunk, LVLR found it in their heart to bring my stinky self all the way from Utah into their rescue. My rescue angels were many. I want to thank the following people for making sure I got to NV and into the loving care of LVLR. Thank you Melissa from Roosevelt, UT and Kelli from RSQ Dogs, and Angelle, Julie H., Melinda and Kimberly B.

By the way, I am about 4-5 years old.

I got to go to a great vet for a check-up, and then I was whisked off to The Barking Dogs Self-Wash to attempt to de-skunk me. I got a total of 4 baths... I think (I lost count after the tomato juice and vinegar). My smell became more tolerable so I got to go and have a sleepover at Mike & Clay's before I went to my foster Mom Melissa's house.

I did not stay in foster care very long because my foster Mom took me to work and showed me off. I behaved myself and soaked up all of the attention that was paid to me.

My new owners changed my name to "Jimmers" and they even let me up on the furniture. This is great because way up here I can keep an eye on that cat! Check me out!

I am home!

Update on Lucky (Now Jimmer)
JULY 2012

Everyone remember Lucky?? Not so lucky!! Before his transport to Las Vegas was set up, he had a beard full of porcupine quills and also got into a skunk. He came into Las Vegas and was quickly put on Channel 13, The Morning Blend Television Show. He's loving his new life with his best friend TJ. We get very excited when these Happy Tails come back our way. Very nice!!!
